Opportunities to Support
the School of Social Work

Our sincere thanks to those alumni and friends who generously support the School of Social Work. Private gifts help the School attract students and provide them with financial support, enable faculty to engage in research that addresses the increasingly complex needs of our society, support student activities, and foster an atmosphere conducive to the development of excellent social work practitioners. Listed below are two School funds to which you may wish to contribute as well as information about how you can make a gift to the School. The School is also very grateful to those alumni and friends who have established student scholarships or funded special projects in their own names or to honor their spouses, family members, friends, or colleagues.

School of Social Work Funds

• The School of Social Work Fund allows the School to allocate funds where the need is greatest. Contributions are used to support a wide range of student and faculty activities as well as promote overall program needs and goals.
• The Graduate Student Support Fund provides money for student scholarships and enables students to participate in workshops, conferences, and other educational experiences.

The UW Foundation calls many alumni each year to solicit their support. If you are called, please be clear that you would like your donation to be directed to the School of Social Work.
