Directions to the School of Social Work

...from the North and Northwest.

When you are nearing Madison, look for Hwy. 51 and exit 132.

Turn right onto Hwy. 151 South/East Washington Ave. and follow it into town.

Turn right onto N. Butler St. (a few blocks before you would get to the Capitol).

Turn left onto Gorham St. which becomes University Ave.

Stay in left lane and take a left on Randall Ave. (then go into right lane).

After crossing the railroad track, take next right and look for the parking ramp which is about a block down.

Use east entrance.

Then walk back out and come back to University Ave. Cross it and go right.

There is a driveway by the construction project. Take a left into this driveway.

You will see another parking ramp but don't go into it.

Look for the stairs off to the right and climb them.

Then go left and you will be walking along the building.

You will come to the door of the Social Work Bldg.

Enter it and take the elevator to third floor and look for room 342.

...from the South (Chicago)

Merge onto I-90 via the ramp on the left toward I-290 (Roosevelt Road/Taylor St)

I-90 becomes I-39 N

Merge onto US-18 W/W Beltline Hwy./US-12 W via exit 142A on the left toward Madison

Look for Park St. exit and go north

Look for University Ave. and turn left

Stay in left traffic lane

Take a left at Randall Ave. stoplight

Stay in right traffic lane and turn right after you cross the railroad track

Look for the parking ramp and use east entrance

Then walk back to University Ave. and cross it

Head east and turn left into a small driveway by the newly constructed building addition

As you approach the parking ramp look to the right and climb the stairs

Turn left and walk along the building

You will come to the door of the Social Work Building

Proceed to third floor
