Here you can post questions for current students and faculty or just get involved
in the discussion. Please be respectful- this is a place for listening
and learning from each other. Please read the following guidelines developed
by student and faculty members of S.H.A.D.E. before proceeding to the Forum.

- Everyone's opinion matters; this is demonstrated by listening respectfully
(by not interrupting, not minimizing others' opinions, paying attention)
- Everyone has a chance to talk
- We can pass on dialogue and do so with dignity
- Confidentiality as defined in the following way: What we say her stays
here. If we want to share what is said here elsewhere, we will ask for
permission
- Be receptive to others' beliefs and self-examination
Refrain from negative/demeaning/ugly name-calling (no zaps, put downs,
hostile analysis)
- Support and encourage one another to be ourselves, to accept others'
culture and to challenge our perceptions about difference
- Encourage dialogue by doing the following: 1) Suspend judgment; 2)
Listen; 3) Uncover assumptions; 4) Inquire and reflect
- Appreciate our differences
