Campus Life

UW-Madison Libraries

The School of Social Work Virginia Franks Memorial Library has over 28,000 volumes, 300 videos, and subscribes to over 90 journals.

Since our classes routinely include contenet on topics such as diversity, race/ethnicity, cultural competence, discrimination, and ethnic-sensitive practice, our library has an extensive collection of books, journals and videos on these subjects.

One of the largest libraries on campus includes a large ethnic studies collection and an ethnic studies reading room.

Multicultural Student Organizations

The Multicultural Student Center (MSC) provides opportunities to celebrate our differences. The MSC focuses its resources on the needs of five designated student of color groups (African-American, American-Indian, Asian-American, Chicano/a and Puerto Rican).
