Our faculty share a common vision of social work as a profession committed to improving the well-being of the most economically and socially disadvantaged groups. The faculty have research expertise and social work practice experience across a wide range of social problem areas (e.g., child welfare, aging, health and mental health including severe and persistent mental illness, poverty and welfare reform, and developmental disabilities), and have been among the national leaders in conducting research relevant to the advancement of social work education and practice, and to the formulation of and evaluation of social policies and programs. They are committed to providing a diverse and supportive environment for all. The School's staff plays a large role supporting our faculty and students. They carry out many functions in administrative and student services and welcome your questions.
