Adult Protective Services Worker

Juneau County Department of Human Services is seeking a qualified person to provide services to frail elders and adults with physical and developmental disabilities.  This position includes conducting assessments, adult protective services, writing court reports, developing case plans, and providing crisis/case management services to promote the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable adults in Juneau County.  Must be comfortable in community settings and possess good interviewing and relationship building skills. Valid driver’s license, insurance, and vehicle required.

Qualifications include: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related field and undergo a criminal background check.  Experience working with this client population preferred but not necessary.  We have a strong staff development program and competitive wages and benefits.
