Behavioral Health and Clinic Manager

Juneau County Department of Human Services is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health and Clinic Manager passionate about providing and managing mental health services.  The best candidates will also commit themselves to the agency mission, vision and values.

Education:  Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing or other equivalent.  Must be licensed under Chapter 457, Wisconsin Statutes, as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Counselor, or Social Worker.

Experience:  Minimum 3 years of experience with a County operated mental health program or similarly operated program.  Supervisory experience preferred.  Experience in budget development/oversight and experience in long range planning preferred.

Responsibilities:  This management position currently works with Comprehensive Community Services, AODA Services and Outpatient clinic, and Emergency Mental Health Services program staff.  This position shall have the responsibility for the management and supervision of the direct service staff and the treatment and rehabilitation services which they provide clients.  On clinical treatment matters, this position works in consultation with the clinic’s Medical Director.  Administrative supervisor is the Deputy Director/Director.
