Intensive Permanence Services Social Worker

Job Description

Anu Family Services, an innovative non-profit child and family service agency, is seeking a direct-practice social worker with excellent clinical skills to work in the Intensive Permanence Services program.

The position provides on-site therapeutic services in efforts to heal relational trauma to children, adolescents, and families in various out-of-home care settings. This is a .75 to FT position, with a competitive salary. The position will provide in-home/community-based services for clients in Western Wisconsin. Position includes travel, some evenings and/or weekends, and responsibilities will include assisting the client to work through what has happened to them to help them understand how this has impacted who they are today. The focus is to clarify these life events to work on moving forward into a more positive, healthy future, full of healthy supports and connections.

Additional qualifications also include: excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships, significant computer skills, attention to detail, and the drive and passion to help clients find lifelong connections, while addressing grief, loss and trauma.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree with child welfare experience and WI Social Work Certification. A Master’s Degree is preferred and prior experience in child welfare or counseling is a plus. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
