School Counselor

Catholic Charities of Madison is seeking a part-time (8 hours/week), masters-level School Counselor for their Parish School Counseling program.

The School Counselor provides supportive services at an area Catholic school, including: (1) creating and implementing classroom guidance lessons to all grades, (2) one-on-one counseling support for students, and (3) consultation for administrators, teachers and parents regarding managing classroom behavior and the mental health and emotional needs of the students. This position runs during the school year only. It offers supportive supervision and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of area youth.

Applicants must have a completed master’s degree (in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or related field) and have direct clinical or classroom experience working with youth. A clinical license and experience working in the school setting are preferred but not required.
