The Milwaukee Health Insurance Enrollment Workforce and Network Manager is responsible for implementing a robust and well-coordinated and collaborative network of health insurance education, outreach, and enrollment activities in the Milwaukee region. This will involve lending leadership to and leveraging the talents and expertise of our Milwaukee-based team of 3 health insurance Navigator professionals to further Covering Wisconsin?s mission, visibility, reach, and influence while also cultivating thoughtful and organized partnerships with the wide range of public, private, and governmental stakeholder leaders throughout the area.

This Navigator position reports to the Director of CWI and has a Matrix Relationship to the Director of the Milwaukee Health Care Partnership. The position requires providing leadership of the Milwaukee-based Covering Wisconsin team and management of the Milwaukee Enrollment Network (MKEN), a coalition of nearly 100 organizations supporting health insurance enrollment with a focus on low-income, vulnerable populations. These components of the position will involve: understanding the nuance of health coverage policy and administration, devising and ensuring well-implemented and data-driven outreach and education campaigns, leading well-organized and action-oriented MKEN leadership and steering meetings and overseeing the effectiveness of MKEN subcommittees, responding to and initiating media interviews and press conferences, and cultivating and growing partnerships with leaders of public, private, and governmental stakeholder agencies.

This position will spend a portion of time providing individual consumer assistance along with the CWI Milwaukee navigator team, particularly during the ACA open-enrollment period. This position includes travel, particularly within southeastern and southcentral Wisconsin, including some overnights. Some weekend and evening events will also be required, particularly during the health insurance open enrollment period. Valid driver’s license is required.
