Substance Use Prevention Coordinator

We seek a Substance Use Prevention Coordinator to support and coordinate evidence-based substance use prevention programming and implementation throughout Wisconsin. In collaboration with the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, this position will be based in the Division of Care and Treatment Services (DCTS), Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

The Substance Use Prevention Coordinator will support and coordinate evidence-based substance use prevention programming and implementation throughout Wisconsin. The position works directly with communities funded through different grants, community coalitions, local human service and public health agencies, and with other state and federal agencies that address substance use prevention services. In addition, this position performs duties to support the coordination of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA’s) or other grant funded prevention programs. The incumbent uses a health equity lens and promotes diversity and inclusion in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
