Service Coordinator – Respite & Youth Resources Dane County

Join our dedicated, high-spirited team of professionals committed to the inclusion of children and adults with disabilities in their communities today! UCP is currently looking for a qualified individual to join our Respite & Youth Resources team as a full-time Service Coordinator in our Madison office. This is a fast-paced position that works directly with children in local child-care programs, works with teens in the community and coordinates respite care for families.

The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting people with disabilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as an attention to detail are also required. Applicants should be comfortable supporting children and teenagers with a wide variety of needs. Experience with supervision is beneficial, as this position supervises our program’s casual employees.

Service Coordinators work Monday through Friday, with occasional evening & weekend hours required.

A reliable vehicle, driver’s license and insurance coverage are required.

Preferred Experience:

  • BA/BS in related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with people with disabilities, families, and/or youth populations.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English or Hmong/English is a plus.
