Behavioral Health Clinician

Position Summary

St. Croix Tribal Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking a talented individual to join a professional team focused on person-centered wellness care as a mental health or/and substance abuse clinician in our outpatient mental health and AODA clinic. St. Croix Behavioral Health Clinicians provide recovery- and strength-based clinical services to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, trauma issues, and co-occurring disorders. The Behavioral Health Clinician provides therapy using culturally appropriate and evidence-based models of treatment in behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, individual sessions, and facilitation of therapeutic/educational groups.

Preferred Candidates:

· Licensed mental health professionals, including LCSW, LMFT, LPC, APSW, LPC-IT, or LMFT-IT (Wisconsin) OR

· Substance use treatment professionals (CSAC, SAC, or SAC-IT licensure) OR

· Dual licensure (mental health and substance use treatment licensure)

· Experience working in Native American communities or cultural sensitivity and training or experience in working with individuals with trauma issues.

· Applicants should be culturally competent and respectful of Native American beliefs and values.

 

Will Consider: New graduates if eligible to be licensed in mental health or substance abuse counseling, and those with training licenses (APSW, LPC-IT, SAC-IT).

The Behavioral Health Clinic is part of the St. Croix Tribal Health Clinic, which provides integrated primary, dental, optical, and other health care to the St. Croix Chippewa along with other American Indians and descendants residing in surrounding areas.
