Community Connector – Bridge Builder

LOV Inc. (Living our Visions Inclusively) is seeking a motivated, fun-loving, caring and enthusiastic member to join our team! We are looking to bring on a new Bridge Builder to support individuals with a variety of disabilities as they explore their gifts and dreams, set manageable goals, and build the skills and connections to achieve them. Our goal at LOV is to bring people together to create an inclusive community. Our team works hard to understand our members and solve problems by thinking outside the box. LOV staff work together to make the communities our members live in a better and more inclusive place for all.

The Bridge Builders:

  • Build relationships with project members (individuals with disabilities), their families, and
    their support staff
  • Support members and their teams to:
    • Discover and set goals and create an action plan to achieve them
    • Design an organizational system and build skills that will increase their independence at home, work, or in the community
    • Facilitate authentic relationships between project members and other community members
  • Actively seek out community connections (clubs, game groups, service groups, etc.) with and/or for project members and support community partnerships to facilitate inclusion (such as The Bodgery, Wheelhouse Studios, Improv groups)

This full-time position will start in May 2022. Annual salary starts at $40,000 with generous paid
time off, health insurance, and other great benefits.

A driver’s license and vehicle with insurance are essential for frequent travel around Madison and Dane County.
