IDD Crisis Stabilization Coordinator

This position is a staff member within the Community Outreach Wisconsin (COW), University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) work unit located at 122 E. Olin Avenue. This position will develop, coordinate and implement–in close collaboration with Dane County Human Services, Journey Mental Health Center–the provision of DHS Chap 34 Crisis Stabilization services to Dane County residents with intellectual disabilities who are at high risk of experiencing a mental health crisis. The position will provide culturally sensitive, recovery oriented, trauma sensitive, direct clinical crisis stabilization services to eligible Dane County residents, but also research and create program policies and procedures and provide ongoing training to Waisman Center Community Outreach staff and affiliated programs in Dane County.
