Briarpatch Youth Services has an exciting job opportunity for a skilled professional LGBTQ+ Youth Group Facilitator. The agency is a dynamic non-profit community organization that has served Dane County since 1971. Briarpatch provides a broad array of services to more than 2,000 youth annually who have runaway, are experiencing homelessness, are justice involved, or facing other challenges.
Approximately 8 hours per week. The main duty of the position is to plan and support the weekly Teens Like Us support group. Group currently meets on Wednesday evenings 5:30pm-7:30pm at Briarpatch Youth Services. Work Hours may vary based on program and youth needs. Flexibility to be able to provide support and advocacy for youth outside of the regular group time is preferred. Wednesday evenings will be required.
