The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Department of Psychiatry is seeking qualified, post-MSW applicants to join our amazing team of Clinical Social Workers in a fellowship program.
The LMSW Fellowship is a specialized opportunity for individuals who have obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) and who are seeking additional training as a therapist. The successful candidates will be hired and assigned to the Department of Psychiatry as Social Worker IIIs and will work closely in fellowship with a board-approved clinical supervisor to accrue hours toward independent licensure. The Fellows will divide their work hours, providing therapy within a wide variety of treatment needs as well as participate in a host of training lectures, groups, and projects catered toward professional interests. The LMSW Fellow will gain exceptional interdisciplinary connections, professional growth, confidence, and professional direction available to them through this large academic setting.
