Anu is hiring full and part-time Adult/Youth Trauma Counselors to meet with children and
adults who have experienced trauma and/or attachment disruptions, to help them meet their self-identified goals related to recovery from trauma and resulting pain-based behaviors. This worker
will:
Provide psychoeducation and psychotherapy to children and adults referred by CCS
(Comprehensive Community Services) in their home, school, or other community-based
settings.
Form trusting relationships, primarily with clients and relevant family members, as well
as with team members.
Provide psychoeducation about trauma and attachment disruptions, normalizing
experiences, i.e., ‘It’s not what’s wrong with you, it’s what happened to you’.
Model and teach emotional regulation skills.
Work effectively as part of a Wraparound or Recovery Team to assist clients in leading a
more self-directed recovery journey.
Job Location: Locations: Dane County and the surrounding area, Eau Claire, and Northern Wisconsin,
including Rusk, Price, and the surrounding counties.
