Assistant Professor Receives Distinguished Teaching Award

Assistant Professor, Dr. LB Klein, recently received a Distinguished Teaching Award. These awards honor exemplary achievements in teaching and recognize some of the university’s finest educators. The award was given to Dr. Klein in recognition of their teaching which supports students in maintaining their humanity while preparing for the challenges of social work careers which can be mentally and emotionally taxing. Dr. Klein will be recognized for this award at a ceremony in April. Colleague Dr. Laura Dresser described Dr. Kleins commitment to students and teaching saying, “LB Klein is an extraordinary teacher whose profound commitment to students is evident in every aspect of their work. Their teaching is thoughtfully designed, clearly delivered, and deeply supportive of students’ learning. In LB’s classes, students are informed and inspired.”
