Morrissey Mental Health Workshop: A Taste of Narrative Therapy
September 25, 2020 - September 26, 2020
This two-day training is designed to introduce narrative therapy’s radically collaborative, respectful, and effective ways of working with people and the problems in their lives and relationships. Narrative therapy helps people story new possibilities and choices that are linked to their hopes and intentions for their lives. Participants can expect to be introduced to the social justice assumptions and principles that constitute narrative therapy’s foundation and get a taste of some of the seminal narrative practices that have emerged from the Narrative Worldview perspective. Clinical examples and experiential exercise will support participants’ learning.
