Marcy Bradley, MSW ’93 Brings “Joy in Diversity” to the School of Social Work

Marcy's quilt handing in the hallAlum Marcy Bradley, who served on our Board of Visitors, has been a generous supporter of the school for many years. Much of her support is targeted at diversity and social justice. Marcy worked as a social worker Meriter Retirement Services (now Capitol Lakes) in Madison before retiring.

Recently, Mel Morgenbesser, head of our alumni relations and development efforts, became aware that Marcy is also an accomplished quilter. He asked Marcy if she might create a quilt that could hang in the school’s building. Marcy has created a beautiful quilt that she calls “Joy in Diversity.”

We are so grateful to have this wonderful piece which reminds us of how important it is that we continue our focus on diversity and social justice especially in today’s society.
