Vincent Saxon is a PhD student in the Sandra Rosenbaum School of Social Work. Their research interests center on the intersection of substance use and transgender health, with a particular focus on how structural conditions and state surveillance shape experiences of substance use within gender-minority communities. Vincent is a licensed clinical social worker and certified peer support specialist with experience spanning outpatient mental health, case management, substance use, and LGBTQ+ focused psychotherapy. Most recently, they worked as a clinical director serving children and families impacted by sexual trauma.
