Anna Walther

Anna (she/her/hers) is a PhD candidate in the SRSSW. She works with the Institute for Research on Poverty and is supporting multiple research projects that explore how work characteristics and public policies impact the economic security of low-income families. Her dissertation examines how the safety net shapes low-income women’s economic security during the perinatal period. She is interested in applied research methods and research applications of critical theoretical frameworks. Her teaching interests include social work macro-practice, social policy, and research methods.
