Biography

Marci Ybarra’s research considers the relationship between public provisions and socioeconomic well-being among low-income families in the U.S. Drawing on mixed-methods and diverse data sources, Ybarra examines these factors at the local, state, and national level. Her research focuses on the overall impacts of social policies and programs as well as place-based variations in their designs in service to enhancing the social safety net and, in turn, family well-being.
