Bob and Melida Wagner have lived a life of service to others. Bob discovered and fed his passion for helping others with a diverse career in social work that has had a positive impact on thousands of underserved people throughout the State of Wisconsin. Melida celebrated her nurturing and caring nature with extensive education, training, and teaching in the nursing profession and provided care and comfort to people in pain in both her native Colombia and later throughout Wisconsin.
Joe Wagner and Denise Blackdeer Wagner would like to honor Joe’s parents, Bob and Melida Wagner, by creating this scholarship.
This scholarship will be awarded to students who meet one or more of the following criteria: (1) first-generation college student, (2) graduate of a public high school, and/or (3) caregiver.
