Earlier this academic year, the School of Social Work recognized 25 outstanding BSW and MSW students as recipients of scholarships in our fall competition. These awards, ranging from $1,000–$5,000, recognize the outstanding contributions and potential of students in various areas, such as mental health, public social services, and social justice advocacy. Criteria is specific for each award and represents the diversity of interests and skills among the students of the school.
These awards are possible thanks to alumni and donor support.
In 2019-20 the school awarded $287,473 in tuition, stipends, and awards to 44 students, which is an 80% increase from 2018-19, and a 481% increase from 2016-2017.
