Congratulations to Peter Doksus, database programmer, on winning an IT Transformational Achievement Award, presented as part of the IT Professionals Conference at UW-Madison last week.

Peter is a Software Engineer/Developer with 15+ years of web application development and system design in HIPAA and FERPA compliant environments and he makes many of the systems used at the school possible and run smoothly. As one of his nominators said, his work to automate internal systems has saved hundreds of hours of staff time and without it, the school would not have been able to respond to the pandemic nearly as effectively.

Each year, UW-Madison Information Technology presents awards for: Lifetime Achievement, Community Engagement, Rising Star, Team Achievement, Transformational Achievement, Unsung Hero, and the Janet E. Plato Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award.
