Assistant Professor Lara Gerassi Recognized with Prestigious Campus Teaching Award

Assistant Professor Lara Gerassi received a Chancellor’s Inclusive Excellence Award from the UW-Madison Distinguished Teaching Awards Committee in recognition of her outstanding teaching, mentorship, and strong attention to inclusive practices.

The Chancellor’s Inclusive Excellence Award celebrates exemplary achievements in teaching that honor the university’s value of diversity and inclusion as the path to excellence. This award recognizes outstanding faculty whose creative and inclusive environments and practices [personify] the spirit of the Wisconsin Idea.

This prestigious award is one of two Chancellor’s Inclusive Excellence Awards given each year and will be presented by Chancellor Mnookin and Provost Scholz at a ceremony in April. Look for more information then.
